Meet the owner/photographer!

Samantha originally started the business in 2011 under the name BlackLine Photography but decided to rebrand as Samantha Lynne Photography in 2020. Samantha is a visual artist whose medium is photography.

So many photographers today are really hobbyists who decided to start a business. While camera technology today can seemingly make it easy to take a good picture, it is the eye of the photographer that makes the difference. This is where Samantha Lynne Photography comes in.

With a passion for art and photography combined, Samantha pursued a college education in commercial photography to refine and perfect her artist’s eye. She has experience with photographing couples, kids, families, pets, graduations, maternity & newborn, and more. Her style is often described as photojournalistic and editorial with a mix relaxed portraits and fun candids that captures timeless memories.

Samantha Lynne Photography serves the DMV (DC, Maryland and Virginia) area and North Texas. Samantha is also available for booking in all of Texas. If you are looking for locations outside of these, please don't hesitate to ask!*

When she's not behind the camera, Samantha enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their pup, Luna (white german shepherd).
